This Privacy Policy describes how Gungle.ai ("we", "us") collects and uses information when you use our website and paid remote job search service. This is an MVP summary and may be updated; it is not a substitute for counsel review.
Information we collect
- Account data: email address and authentication details when you sign up with email/password or Google. Authentication is provided by Supabase; Google sign-in uses Google OAuth.
- Billing data: payment and subscription information processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Usage data: basic technical logs related to operating and securing the service (for example, request errors), hosted on Vercel.
Job listing data
Job listings shown in Gungle.ai are gathered and sanitized by Gungle.ai's proprietary job gathering and sanitation systems and cached in our database so we can search and display them to subscribers. Listing content originates from employers and public/job-source data processed by our systems; we do not control employer postings.
How we use information
- Create and secure your account
- Process subscriptions and manage billing via Stripe
- Provide job search and related product features
- Send transactional emails (for example, email verification and password reset)
- Send communications from Gungle.ai and its affiliates, including product updates, job alerts, and related messages. By creating an account, you agree to receive these communications.
- Maintain, protect, and improve the service
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and improve the product (for example, which pages are visited and how the site performs). This is separate from the basic technical usage logs described above under Information we collect.
Advertising
Some pages (such as the blog, job search, and job detail pages for users without an active paid subscription) may display ads through Google AdSense (Google advertising services). Advertising partners may use cookies or similar device identifiers to deliver and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. Personalized advertising is controlled through our site cookie preference / consent controls (Reject all, Accept necessary, or Accept all). Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie named gungle_ads_consent: 0 means non-personalized ads only; 1 means personalized ads are allowed. Reject all and Accept necessary both prefer non-personalized ads — ads may still appear. Accept all allows personalized ads. Until you make a choice, we do not load ad scripts.
Sharing
We share data with service providers who help us operate Gungle.ai, including Supabase (auth and database), Stripe (payments), Google (when you choose Google sign-in), Vercel (hosting and analytics), and Google as an advertising partner when ads are shown. We do not sell your personal information.
Retention and security
We retain account and subscription records while your account is active and as needed for legal, billing, or security purposes. We use industry-standard safeguards provided by our infrastructure partners, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
You can update your password, manage billing through the Stripe Customer Portal, and contact us to request account deletion subject to legal and operational requirements. You can manage personalized advertising preferences through our site cookie preference / consent controls (including the Cookie settings link in the footer on the landing page and blog). Reject all or Accept necessary means non-personalized ads may still appear; Accept all allows personalized ads. To opt out of non-essential communications from Gungle.ai and its affiliates, contact privacy@gungle.ai.
